At primary issue are the proper names given, their placement in the text, and exactly how many are the number of the names originally intended by the author. Another issue of importance is whether or not the timing of the descent of the Watchers took place in the days of Jared. However, the statement is not found in the Aramaic Text of Ethiopian 1-Enoch. This lends support to this study because it is much more likely that the descent portrayed was an event that occurred at the time of the fall of Adam and Eve in the very beginning. Adam was given dominion over the fowls of heaven, beasts of the field, and creeping things. Should we believe that Adam had physical control over the physical fowls of heaven in the beginning or is the Scripture importing unto the reader a supernal truth? The Master states in the Parable of the Sower that the fowls of the heavens are the Wicked One, the Devil, and the Satan in the three separate Gospel passages where the Parable of the Sower is recorded. If we allow Scripture to be the forceful guide concerning these things one may indeed come to some very solid and reasonable conclusions using both the 1883 and the 1917 Translations of Ethiopian 1-Enoch in combination and by comparison. With the exception of the final quote at the bottom of this page, (Enoch 20:1-8) all of the following passage quotes from Enoch are derived from either one or the other of the two translations cited. The main passages in question for the purposes of this study are quoted below not only for reference but also insomuch that the reader may know that nothing here was "concocted" in the blending of the two translations into one which adheres to the Scripture without doing damage to the text of the original translations, (which is hopefully what is to follow below and should be considered a worthy endeavor as Enoch is quoted in the Epistle of Jude and Moses clearly wrote of some similar if not exact same things).

2. And when the angels, the sons of heaven, beheld them, they became enamoured of them, saying to each other, Come, let us select for ourselves wives from the progeny of men, and let us beget children.
3. Then their leader
Samyaza said to them; I fear that you may perhaps be indisposed to the performance of this enterprise;
4. And that I alone shall suffer for so grievous a crime.
5. But they answered him and said; We all swear;
6. And bind ourselves by mutual execrations, that we will not change our intention, but execute our projected undertaking.
7. Then they swore all together, and all bound themselves by mutual execrations. Their whole number was two hundred, who descended upon Ardis, which is the top of mount Armon.
8. That mountain therefore was called Armon, because they had sworn upon it, and bound themselves by mutual execrations.
9. These are the names of their chiefs:
Samyaza, who was their leader, Urakabarameel, Akibeel, Tamiel, Ramuel, Danel, Azkeel, Saraknyal, Asael, Armers, Batraal, Anane, Zavebe, Samsaveel, Ertael, Turel, Yomyael, Arazyal. These were the prefects of the two hundred angels, and the remainder were all with them.

The first name count discrepancy is fairly easily resolved by the math contained within the text. If there are exactly 200 Watchers which descended upon Ardis, and if the list given above are "chiefs of tens" then there must be exactly 18 names, mathematically speaking, because Smazz is stated to be the chief ruler set in charge over the "chiefs of tens" who are also named, (i.e. he is the ruler of either the 17 or 18 names which are written in the text; whichever the number of the names turns out to be). Yet the names listed are also "chiefs of tens" so then if we therefore have 18 names then they are chiefs over the remaining 180 fallen Watchers, but if 17 names then the remainder would be 170, (which is too small a number by the math within the text itself). Neither should there be 19 names in addition to Smazz, (totaling 20) because 19 "chiefs of ten" would require a remainder of 190 fallen entities ruled over by their 19 chiefs, (totaling 209). Azzl is also not yet named in this section except for that he is probably Smazz which returns from the desert or wilderness, (scapegoat typology of the Scripture).

Therefore there are 18 names which are chiefs over the remaining 180 fallen Watchers. Smazz (who is afterwards called Azzl) rules over the 18 chiefs which in turn rule over the remaining 180 fallen Watchers, (totaling 198) and the addition of Smazz himself totals 199. In the typology according to the Scripture then Semjaz is probably the Dragon, (which is the "mind of the flesh") because Smazz-Azzl is most assuredly the same typology of the `Aza'zel in Leviticus 16. The scapegoat to-for `Aza'zel is the unclean spirit of the "old man" sin nature which eventually returns from the "dry-arid places" of the desert, and with all of the sins upon its mortally wounded head, and with "seven others more wicked than himself" seeking re-entry into the former "house" from whence he came, (Matthew 12:43-45 and Luke 11:24-26).

Enoch VIII
1. Moreover
`Azzl taught men to make swords, knives, shields, breastplates, the fabrication of mirrors, and the workmanship of bracelets and ornaments, the use of paint, the beautifying of the eyebrows, the use of stones of every valuable and select kind, and of all sorts of dyes, so that the world became altered.
2. Impiety increased; fornication multiplied; and they transgressed and corrupted all their ways.
Semjz taught sorcerers and root-cuttings,
Armrs the resolving of enchantments-sorceries,
Barqjl taught astrology,
Kkabl the constellations,
Ezql the knowledge of the clouds,
Tml the signs of the earth,

10. And men, being destroyed, cried out; and their voice reached to heaven.

These 21 names correspond to the "unclean" fowls of heaven. However all of the names do not appear in each of the separate lists given in Torah. One must put the two lists together for all of the names to be revealed and surely this is by design. Of masculine names combined from both passages of Scripture there are eight names of unclean fowls including "Every `oreb-raven after his kind" (the `Aza'zel "old man" sin nature).

We find in the companion passage that several of names are interchanged for the six masculine names recorded in Leviticus 11:13-15 and one additional name is written for a total of seven names in Deuteronomy 14:12-14. The alternate and additional names provide for a combined understanding from both passages of Scripture delegating a total number of EIGHT species of masculine "unclean" fowls of heaven, (the `oreb-raven `Aza'zel is then "the eighth and of the seven").

In the Qumran Fragments from the Book of Giants the following portions where found pertaining to Enoch, (linking Enoch to The Epic of Gilgamesh, Re: Ruling Seven Mountains with a Rod of Iron). Scholars believe that the vision of the Titan Mahway of 200 names on a tablet, which were washed away leaving only three names remaining, somehow pertains to Noah and his three sons. However this cannot be true because to begin with the vision concerns the 200 names which are undoubtedly the same 200 fallen Watchers mentioned in Enoch. This would mean that the vision of Mahway the Titan portends the message that three of the fallen reprobate entities named in Enoch were to be left remaining after the Flood. If what is outlined above is correct exegesis then the three which remained have been infecting mankind from the very beginning when Adam and Eve first fell. And those three are personified in the Lion, the Bear, and the Leopard, (Yeshua defeats them in the appointed time, and for each in his or her own appointed time, and none shall be alone in his appointed times). Neither the Watchers nor their offspring, the Giants, were told which names were the three which would remain after the coming Flood. This also is likely to have caused a great war between the Giants because they had thought that the vision concerned themselves in the flesh. Then a similar vision is recounted where 200 Trees are uprooted except for three "roots" which sprang up into a garden. The idea of a "stump" left in the earth is reintroduced in Daniel 4:15 where Nebuchadnezzar in his dominion is portrayed as a great tree about to be felled. The three "root-stumps" from The Book of Giants are then gathered into "one garden" (the 'adamah-soil of the heart of man is "The Garden").

The dream of the Titan Mahway is expounded in Daniel 4. Nebuchadnezzar himself is a man who is likened to a great tree. This is true of all people, man and woman alike, and the body of the man is the realm of his "dominion" or kingdom. The true man is the living soul of the "inner man" which dwells inside an "earthen vessel" which is the body, (man is likened to a "treasure in an earthen vessel"). Thus the story goes: Let not the "unclean fowls" of the air be allowed to nest in the "branches" of your tree which same "branches" Yeshua calls "members" and the apostle Paul follows suit employing the same term, "members".

Daniel 4:10-17
10. Thus were the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof was great.
11. The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth:
12. The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it.
13. I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven;
14. He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches:
15. Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth:
16. Let his heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.
17. This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

The final words of Enoch recorded in the Book of Giants, spoken to the Titan Mahway, are nearly identical to what Daniel says to Nebuchadnezzar:

Nebuchadnezzar is the soul of the man and his body is likened to the great tree and branches of his dominion. However this great tree, like the trees of Eden, did boast itself against the very kingdom of heaven, (as every man and woman eventually does). And so the holy Watchers of Daniel 4, (Seven Spirits before the Throne of YHWH) decreed that the tree of the man Nebuchadnezzar would be hewn down and yet the stump would be left remaining in the earth. It then did not concern the physical death of the king but rather the slaying of the wicked and "unclean spirit" ruler of his kingdom: that wily "old man" scapegoat-twin character. The same thing happens to Daniel when his "old man" sin nature Belshazzar, (his own `Aza'zel) is slain at the end of the "Babylonian dominion" of "the other" Daniel, ("Belteshazzar" is Daniel and "Belshazzar" is "the other" Daniel). The Genesis 6:1-2 quote from Enoch 7:1-2 is no less perfect than the many places where the New Testament quotes from the Old Testament. The meaning and intent of both passages above are identical. A literal rendering of Genesis 6:4 reveals that the intent may be, in fact, stating that the Nphilim fallen ones, (the same which were the fallen Watchers of Enoch) were the "ones named" which fell from eternity-`owlam.

The ones of "the name" or "ones named" are either the same ones named in the line of Kain, (Genesis 4) or the named in Enoch, or more likely both lines intermingled like iron, (spirit) and clay, (man). They descended at Mount Hermon and fell from eternity which was their former estate, and their names are recorded in Enoch, and they are ha-Nphilim fallen ones, and their offspring are ha-Gibborim "mighty ones" and Giants. The same word "gibbor-gibboriym" (HSN#1368 "gibbowr" also meaning "champion" 1 Samuel 17:51) is used of Goliath who was one of the sons of ha-Rapa' (1 Chronicles 20:6). The English translations concerning ha-Rpa'iym as "the giant" are simply from a misunderstanding of Genesis 6:4. Rapha is a proper name and one of the fallen ones, ha-Nphilim, which are upon the earth again also afterwards according to the Scripture as Genesis 6:4 states. The sons which were of the offspring of `Anaq or Anak, (Numbers 13) were called `Anaqiy or Anakim, and were another genus of the Nphilim, (`Anak may be connected to the Chaldean `Anunnaki of the ancient Mesopotamian cuneiform tablets). When we therefore arrive at Leviticus 16 the word `Aza'zel is seemingly employed out of nowhere because the word is found nowhere else in the Scripture. Why is this so? Because the name `Aza'zel comes directly from Enoch the prophet and it was already revealed in the Book of Enoch as to what and who `Aza'zel represents.

Think that none of this matters to the everyday common man or woman? Where does Yeshua ever say that the statement above only applies to "a few" unfortunate demon possessed people? To begin with the unclean spirit, which is cast out, is only cast out of those who come to Messiah in the first place. Therefore the statement does not apply to unbelievers because they never had the unclean spirit of the world and prince of the power of the air cast out of them to begin with. Yet it is clear that the "unclean spirit" returns to his former "house" which "house" is the bodily temple of the believer, (either way "ye are not your own"). And this "return" is the hour of tribulation; the hour of trial; the hour of testing which shall come upon each and every one in his or her own appointed times known only to our heavenly Father. In fact, to be "FORGIVEN" means to have ones sins "SENT AWAY" by the High Priest. The word translated "forgiven" means the same. This is exactly what is done in the Great Day of Atonement by the High Priest with the scapegoat to-for `Aza'zel. What then are the "valleys of the earth" from Enoch 10:8 quoted below? When YHWH speaks of "the earth" he speaks, more often than not, of mankind, (especially when he speaks of the 'adamah-earth-soil which is the Parable of the Sower 'adamah-earth-soil of the heart). For Adam was taken and formed from not the 'erets-land but of the dust of the 'adamah-soil. The "valleys of the earth" where the wicked spirits were cast into, and bound for seventy generations, were the "low points" of humanity and mankind. This same word, (and a derivative) is employed throughout the entire Greek New Testament concerning forgiveness of sins. The High Priest Yeshua sends away the scapegoat with all the sins upon his head; which is true forgiveness of sins: "Son, be of good cheer; the sins of you are sent away" (forgiven). This is why the Pharisees, Sadducees, and Scribes began to accuse Yeshua of blaspheme; for only YHWH can send away sins and only the high priest has the authority to perform the ceremony. Yeshua claimed that right and did the works with mighty power day in and day out. (not just at Yom Kippurim). Those adhering to a theology based on the idea that Yeshua is their "scapegoat" are badly mistaken. The scapegoat typology fulfillment was "Yeshua Bar-Abbas" the murderer, which one was released by Pilate who was the "fit man" (which is by definition "an opportune man" of the moment). Pilate the "fit man" of the moment released Barabbas at the request of the multitude with the sins of murder, rebellion, and insurrection upon his head. No sin was necessary to be transposed in the case of Barabbas because Yeshua had no sin. The scapegoat is unclean from the time when the High Priest lays the sins of the people upon its head. Therefore it is sent away into the desert, dry-arid, deserted place, or wilderness, to "walk through dry places" like the desert-nomad creatures of Isaiah 34 and Daniel. The `Aza'zel has two horns like a lamb but speaks like a dragon, (for his desire is unto you, to regain entry into his former "house", but thou shalt rule over him).

There is only one way this scenario is even possible because only the High Priest is allowed inside the Sanctuary during the Yom Kippurim Day of Atonements ceremonies. He is to sprinkle the blood SEVEN TIMES with his FINGER. This is throughout the atonement ceremonies, including the atonement of the Mercy Seat, the atonement before the Veil, and the atonement of the Golden Altar of Incense. However, the mortal high priests only have five fingers on a hand and the word for finger is singular. The mortal priests, Ahron and his sons after him, most likely used a single finger to perform the blood sprinkling ceremony. Therefore, how can the Book of the Revelation of Yeshua describe "Seven Messengers" with "Seven Golden Bowls" and all seven of the messengers dressed the same as the High Priest, with the pure white linen garments and the golden girdle; and still be speaking of the same Atonement and cleansing of the Tabernacle of the Testimony when the same ceremony prescribed in Torah is to be performed by the One HaKohen HaGadol? Those Seven Messengers are One who is our High Priest after to the order of the MelkiTzedek Elohim Priesthood, Messiah Yeshua, HaKohen HaGadol. Our Great High Priest did "Seven Himself in Oath" which is what the Hebrew word for "oath" literally means, (i.e. "to seven times ones self in oath").

The word used in the Hebrew and Aramaic for "angel" (HSN#4397-8 "mal'ak") technically means nothing more than "a messenger" just as the same is true of the word used for "angel" (GSN#0032) employed throughout the Greek New Testament. In addition there are indeed places where the word Elohim is employed meaning Angels. Messiah Yeshua is certainly the One-'Echad-Alpha-First Messenger:

Who is the One who does all of the marking and sealing of the people of YHWH? He is the One who is the great Mal'ak and Messenger of YHWH, the great High Priest. The same is "the man clothed in linen" who blesses our Living Water and our Bread of Life. The linen garment down to the foot is the kittel or robe of the High Priest: He it is who puts the name of YHWH upon his people by His Doctrine; which is recorded in the four Gospel accounts being the four winds of the heavens.

Numbers 6:23-27
23. Speak unto Ahron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise shall you bless bney Yisrael, saying unto them:
24. YHWH bless thee and keep thee:
