Ezekiel Temple
Temple of a Man
Yeshua answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body.

The Ezekiel Temple appears to be a representation of the body - Miqdash temple that we serve in: It is the temple of a man. The Miqdash Temple represents the temple of a human body. It has 6 gates: inner and outer gates facing the north, inner and outer gates facing the south, and also inner and outer gates facing the east. Each of the 6 gates are 60 cubits high (enter through the narrow gate) and each gate has 6 chambers. The outer wall, of the outer court, is 6 cubits high and 6 cubits wide and its length is 500 cubits by 500 cubits square (500 cubits per side). However, with its outer "suburb of 50 cubits round about" the overall outer dimension including the common or "profane" area is 600 x 600 cubits square. Therefore the temple which we serve in, which is the body of Christ Yeshua the Son of man is "the temple of a man" and its overall measurements are:
Six Hundred - Sixty - and Six.

Ezekiel 40:5 KJV
5. And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man's hand a
measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; (6 cubits) and the height, one reed. (6 cubits)

Ezekiel 43:7-11 KJV
7. And he said unto me, Son of man,
the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.
8. In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.
9. Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.
10. Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities:
and let them measure the pattern.
11.
And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.

The Ezekiel Temple represents the Body of Yeshua
John is told to measure the Temple in Revelation 11 but nowhere are we openly or plainly given the measurements unless they have something to do with the following passage from Revelation 13. John uses almost identical language as that of Ezekiel 43:10.

"Let them measure the pattern"
"Let him with understanding count (calculate-measure) the number"…

The measurements given in Revelation 21 are of the Holy City, (measured with the gold reed) which John clearly states that he
"saw no temple therein" because YHWH Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. What then happened to the measurements of the Temple which John was told to measure? It has to do with the 144000 of Revelation 7 because the people of YHWH are His temple and the Ezekiel Temple Altar of Sacrifice found in Ezekiel 43 just happens to be 12 x 12 cubits square, (12 x 12 = 144).

Revelation 13:17 KJV
18.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Who has wisdom and understanding? Only them that have repented and are ashamed of their iniquities. Only then might we possibly understand the scripture, (the only wisdom) and maybe then as Yeshua leads we may understand the measure of the pattern given to Ezekiel. The Messiah came to build the new Temple as prophesied and there are references to the Ezekiel Temple in the New Testament because the Ezekiel Temple is the Body of Christ. The modern shepherd-prophets would prefer to defer the Ezekiel Temple to a future millennium because most of them see only with the eyes of the flesh. However, the Ezekiel Temple is NOW BUILT and we worship in it because it represents the body of Yeshua. If we are IN CHRIST we are IN TEMPLE.

The Body of Mashiyach Foretold

Zechariah 3:8-9 KJV
8. Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold,
I will bring forth my servant the Branch.
9. For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua;
upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

Zechariah 6:12-13 KJV
12. And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying,
Behold the man whose name is The Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the Lord:
13.
Even he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

Amos 3:7-8 KJV
7. Surely the Lord God will do nothing,
but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
8. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord God hath spoken, who can but prophesy?

Hebrews 10:4-7 KJV (Psalms 40)
4. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
5.
Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared [#2675 "fitted-framed"] me:
6. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will,
O God.

John 2:19-21 KJV
19. Jesus answered and said unto them,
Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21.
But he spake of the temple of his body.

Solomon’s temple was said to have been 120 cubits high, (the qodesh-inner sanctuary). Yet Zerubbabel's temple sanctuary was only half of that, (60 cubits high). The religious leaders of the Jews later decried Cyrus for giving this order which he, doubtless, got confirmation from the writings of Ezekiel. Therefore Herod was more than happy to re-design the temple to gain the favor of the religious leaders of Judea. Unfortunately the Jews wanted only a bigger sanctuary, without truly understanding the significance of its dimensions, and ended up with Herod adding 40 more cubits to the original 60, (for a total of 100 cubits,) for the new height of the temple inner sanctuary of Yeshua's day. Thus, the 46 years of rebuilding the pride of the nation resulted in a profaned structure, (of which things the religious leaders seemingly had no clue about).

Ezra 6:3 KJV
3. In the first year of Cyrus the king the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations thereof be strongly laid;
the height thereof threescore (60) cubits, and the breadth thereof threescore (60) cubits;

Josephus comes to the same conclusion, that Solomon’s temple was 120 cubits tall, on two separate occasions. The “Zerubbabel“ temple was only half as tall as Solomon’s. It stood at 60 cubits or about 10 stories tall. The Mishna also agrees in that it states that the Zerubbabel temple was later remodeled and 40 cubits were added to make it a total of 100 cubits in height. This is what king Herod the Great did when he embarked on his temple remodeling project; thus he made it 40 cubits taller.

Josephus, Antiquities of the Jews, B-XV, C-XI, V.1
"Our fathers, indeed, when they were returned from Babylon, built this temple to
God Almighty, yet does it want
sixty cubits of its largeness in altitude for so much did that first temple which Solomon built exceed this temple nor let any one condemn our fathers for the negligence or want of piety herein, for it was not their fault that the temple was no higher; for they were Cyrus and Darius the son of Hystaspes, who determined the measure for its rebuilding; and it hath been by reason of the subjection of those fathers of ours to them and to their posterity, and after them to the Macedonians, that they had not the opportunity to follow the original model of the pious edifice, nor could they raise it to its ancient altitude"

Josephus, Antiquities of the Jews, B-XI, C-IV, V-2.

"Now the priests and Levites, and the elder part of the families, recollecting with themselves how much greater and more sumptuous the old temple had been, seeing that now made how much inferior it was, on account of their poverty, to that which had been built of old considered with themselves how much their happy state was sunk below what it had been of old, as well as their temple . Hereupon they were disconsolate, and not able to contain their grief, and proceeded so far as to lament and shed tears on those accounts; but the people in general were contented with their present condition; and because they were allowed to build them a temple, they desired no more, and neither regarded nor remembered, nor indeed at all tormented themselves with the comparison of that and the former temple, as if this were below their expectations; but the wailing of the old men and of the priests, on account of the deficiency of the temple, in their opinion, if compared with that which had been demolished, overcome the sounds of the trumpets and the rejoicing of the people."

Mishna Middoth, 4.6
"The Sanctuary was 100 Cubits Square and a hundred cubits in height."

Be it profane, or not, this is the temple that Messiah Yeshua
"suddenly came to" as prophesied by Malachi. But the word Malachi is instructed to use for "temple" is #1964 heykal. Why? Because the body that was prepared, fitted, and framed for Yeshua is the true temple. The second temple that Herod remodeled ended up a fancy building made by men. Malachi refers to it as more of a "palace."

Malachi 3:1 KJV
1. Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the
Lord, whom ye seek,
shall suddenly come to his temple, [#1964 heykal] even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.

Strong's Ref. #1964

probably from HSN3201 (in the sense of capacity); a large public building, such as a palace or temple:
KJV--palace, temple.

Also of note is that it was the
DOCTORS which the young man Yeshua spoke with, at the age of 12, in the Temple. Why the doctors? Because they knew about the body, which is the temple:

Luke 5:45-47 KJV
45. And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.
46. And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the
doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
47.
And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.

The camp of the saints and children of Israel was laid out by the Grand Designer in the same orderly arrangement as the Ezekiel Temple:

Continuing on then with the ancient Pebble Count method as shown above:

Sum(36) = 666

And the total Pebble Count of all the Sum numbers before it, (inclusive) is
2300. Now therefore, without having to write out all of the numbers and plus symbols again, the following is simply the continuation of the same pebble count method and continues on from Sum(23) = 276

Sum(24) = 300
Sum(25) = 325
Sum(26) = 351
Sum(27) = 378
Sum(28) = 406
Sum(29) = 435

Sum(32) = 528
Sum(33) = 561
Sum(34) = 595

TOTAL PEBBLE COUNT = 7770

(2300+300+325+351+378+406+435+465+496+528+561+595+630 = 7770)

This mathematical fact is hugely important to our understanding of Scripture numbers because the next Sum is that of the

Four Myriads = 4 x 36000 = 144000
Two Thousand Three Hundred = Holy Sanctuary Cleansed (Daniel 8:14)
Sixty = Enter by the Narrow Gate ~ Ezekiel Temple Gates are Sixty Cubits

Each Quarter (Myriad) of the Camp of the Saints consists of three Tribes:
3 x 12000 = 36000 Per Quarter ~ Revelation 7 (3 x 12000 from each Tribe).
4 Quarters x 36000 = 144000

I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.

Acts 7:44-54 KJV (Stephen)
44. Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.
45. Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;
46. Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.
47.
But Solomon built him an house.
48.
Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
49.
Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
50. Hath not my hand made all these things?
51.
Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
52. Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
53. Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.
54. When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

2 Chronicles 7:11-16 KJV
11. Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord, and the king's house: and all that came into Solomon's heart to make in the house of the Lord, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.
12.
And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.
13. If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
14. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
15. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.
16.
For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

The Temple in which we serve is the Temple of a Man ~
The Ezekiel Temple represents the Body of Yeshua ~

The Ezekiel Temple has Six Gates:
2 Gates: inner and outer gates facing the east.
2 Gates: inner and outer gates facing the north.
2 Gates: inner and outer gates facing the south.

All Six Gates are identical except for the Steps:
Each 6 Gates has 6 small chambers measuring 6 x 6 Cubits
Outer Gates: 7 Steps
Inner Gates: 8 Steps (Eternal)

The Ezekiel Temple measurements are taken with a Six-Cubit reed:
The building of the outer wall is 6 x 6 cubits (Ezek. 40:5)
One Cubit = Cubit and a handbreadth (handbreadth compensates for man)
One Reed = Six Cubits

The word employed in Hebrews 10:5 concerning the body of Yeshua is translated as "prepared" yet the word means "fitted" and "framed" like as a house is framed. The Hebrews 10 passage, (quoting Psalm 40) perfectly states that "in the volume of THE BOOK it is written" of Christ Yeshua. And that the physical body of Christ Yeshua, (the Word pre-incarnate) was prepared, fitted, and framed for Him to dwell in when He came in the first "time of visitation." Also, Amos clearly states that "surely YHWH 'Elohiym will do nothing, but (unless first) he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets."

The prophecy of the "Ezekiel Temple" begins in Ezekiel Chapter 40. The year is fairly well documented as a year of Jubilee, (573BC) because of the information given in Ezek.40:1. If then, the prophecy was given in a year known to be 573BC, or even give or take a year for arguments sake, and if also two prophets prophesied later during the building of the Second Temple, (Zechariah and Haggai) why then did they not lay the foundation and build the previously foretold Ezekiel Temple? The prophets knew that the Ezekiel Temple was not a Temple to be built by the hands of men.

King
David paid SIX HUNDRED shekels of gold for the Holy Place:

1 Chronicles 21:15-25 KJV
18. Then the angel of the Lord commanded Gad to say to David, that David should go up, and set up an altar unto the Lord in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
19. And David went up at the saying of Gad, which he spake in the name of the Lord.
20. And Ornan turned back, and saw the angel; and his four sons with him hid themselves. Now Ornan was threshing wheat.
21. And as David came to Ornan, Ornan looked and saw David, and went out of the threshingfloor, and bowed himself to David with his face to the ground.
22. Then David said to Ornan, Grant me the place of this threshingfloor, that I may build an altar therein unto the Lord: thou shalt grant it me for the full price: that the plague may be stayed from the people.
23. And Ornan said unto David, Take it to thee, and let my lord the king do that which is good in his eyes: lo, I give thee the oxen also for burnt offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the meat offering; I give it all.
24. And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for the Lord, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.
25. So David gave to Ornan for the place
six hundred shekels of gold by weight.

Solomon ties everything together: building everything including the House of the Forest and the Temple on a yearly income of 666 talents of gold. The first Temple was built upon the ROCK of the threshing floor of Ornan which full perimeter David payed the full price of 600 shekels of gold to acquire.

2 Chronicles 3:1 KJV
1. Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared
in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

We are given a new understanding of the Law in Ezekiel 43 concerning the Holy Place from the same passage of scripture already in discussion here. "Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit round about" is to be "Most Holy" ("qodesh qadashiym" or "holy holies" which is the same wording which they translate as "the Holy of Holies" inner sanctuary). The mountain top "whole limit" includes the fifty-cubit outer perimeter for the "commons" or "profane" area (which makes the whole complex 600 x 600) which represents the flesh or "outer perimeter" of the body-miqdash temple.

Ezekiel 43:10-12 KJV
12. This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

Six Hundred Sixty and Six is indeed the number of a man. And to build the Ezekiel Temple into a Temple made with hands is not what was intended, and perhaps the one they call "Shekinah" (a word from Kabbalah which is found nowhere in Scripture) will quite possibly be "seated" and dwell therein, if and when the false prophets of Judah and their counterpart Apostate Judeo Christian "two horns like a lamb" modern prophecy shepherds decide to build the Ezekiel Temple with their hands ...
